Theideal candidate will hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and demonstrate proficient therapy skills tailored to the educational environment. You will work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to assess, plan, and deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students across a diverse age range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans targeting communication disorders
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures
Qualifications:- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Experience providing skilled speech-language therapy in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students to achieve therapy goals
