Position Overview
This is a hands-on individual contributor production role requiring expertise in multiple manufacturing disciplines, including CNC machining, manual tacking, lamination, engraving, and card finishing. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who can adapt to different functions as needed to support production goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain CNC machines, lamination systems, engraving systems, and/or card finishing equipment to produce high-quality components. • Perform tacking operations with precision and in accordance with production requirements. • Inspect and verify output quality at each stage, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications. • Maintain accurate documentation of production data, process parameters, and quality checks through our ERP input tools or manual documentation. • Flex between functions and workstations based on production demand or team capacity. • Rapidly adapt to changes in workflow priorities and scheduling to support production goals. • Collaborate with supervisors and planners to address bottlenecks or resource gaps in our Lead Daily Management solution. • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe and organized workspace. • Conduct basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment. • Report malfunctions or hazards promptly to minimize downtime and risk.
Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Technical training or vocational certification preferred. 3 years of experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: CNC, tacking, lamination, engraving, card finishing. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or CAD files. Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and support team flexibility. Preferred familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. Preferred understanding of ISO or other quality management systems. Basic computer literacy for equipment interfaces, reporting, and tracking.
