We are presently accepting applications for the following position.

SKILLED PLUMBER (12-MONTH/FULL-TIME/AFFILIATED)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possession of a valid New Jersey Plumber license
• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of documented, successful experience in industrial, commercial, or institutional plumbing work
• Holds a valid Black Seal Low-Pressure Boiler Operator License or obtain one within one (1) year of hire
• Certified Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester certification, preferred
• Deep understanding of national, state, and local plumbing codes
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, and mechanical technical drawings
• Basic computer literacy to operate digital work-order systems, email, and material requisition databases
• Demonstrated experience in a wide variety of layout, installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance tasks
• Previous experience working within an educational facility or public sector framework, preferred
• Ability to meet deadlines with tight time constraints.
• Possession of a valid New Jersey Driver's License for travel between district buildings

Salary Range: $84,226-92,972 (as per the Fair Lawn Custodians' Association Collective Bargaining Agreement)
