Apply for the position of Skills Trade Technician with experience in HVAC to join our team. HVAC Technician assists in installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in a commercial environment.
High school graduate with considerable experience in building maintenance procedures. Graduate of a technical/vocational school in climate control and considerable experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
• Replace filters, belts, thermostats, and assist with troubleshooting heating and air-conditioning system problems. • Installs or repairs duct systems. • Ability to read prints, electrical meters, and operate or use various machinery, equipment, power tools, hand tools, and related supplies to complete work assignments. • Perform routine preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
Requirements:
• HVAC and Refrigerant Recovery Certification. • Knowledge of general facility maintenance, air balance procedure, basic engineering principles, and chemical water treatment knowledge. • Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times. • Document service work performed and parts used.
Working Conditions:
• Self-starter and can work in a team environment. • Candidate must be able to work in extreme weather on ladders, rooftops, and be available to work overtime when needed and on a call basis. • Must be able to pass a background check, finger printing, drug screening, and have a valid South Carolina Drivers License.
