Company: Gabletek Position: Skilled Trades TraineeJob DescriptionGabletek is seeking motivated Skilled Trades Trainees interested in building a long-term career in industrial automation and skilled trades. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable technical skills in a growing industry. We welcome both experienced candidates and individuals with little to no experience who are eager to learn.Trainees will receive exposure and training in three primary skilled trades areas:
  • Machine Building
  • Electrical
  • Pipefitting
This position offers hands-on learning within an automation environment while working alongside experienced professionals. Trainees will participate in skilled trades training classes and practical shop experience designed to build foundational knowledge and real-world skills used in automation, manufacturing, and industrial systems.Training Classes Include
  • Machine building fundamentals
  • Industrial electrical basics
  • Pipefitting fundamentals
  • Reading mechanical and electrical blueprints
  • Safe tool usage and shop safety procedures
  • Automation equipment and robotic system exposure
  • Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting basics
What Trainees Will Learn
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Machine assembly and installation techniques
  • Basic industrial electrical wiring and troubleshooting
  • Pneumatics, hydraulics, and pipe routing fundamentals
  • Safe use of hand tools and power tools
  • Preventative maintenance and automation system support
  • Understanding robotic and automated manufacturing equipment
