Summary/ObjectiveThe Skip Representative will use applicable tools and resources to identify the location of client collateral and work collaboratively with repossession vendors to secure the client’s collateral in accordance client Service Level Agreements (SLAs.) The Skip Representative is responsible for skip tracing accounts within the scope of applicable laws and regulations in a manner that denotes professionalism and integrity. Essential Functions Use all internet databases and phone tools to locate customers and/or collateralBuild successful relationships with contractors and clients to service accountsCommunicate verbally and systematically with clients and/or contractors to complete assigned tasksProvide updates regarding account status and service levels; recommend changes if neededObtain new leads on customers / collateral locationsObtain any necessary documentation or guidance to pursue the collateral/customers (i.e. Credit Applications/Reference sheets and prior communication with their customer)Ensure all information/leads provided are being acknowledged and reacted toProvide frequent updates to summarize progress made throughout the lifecycle of orders until concludedConduct initial review of information provided by clients to ensure accuracySkip Tracing of customers and/or other parties to Identify the best known address to locate the client’s collateral or customerDetermine if the client’s customer has filed Bankruptcy, Active Duty Military, current owner/registrant of the vehicleInitiate contact with client’s customers, references, relatives and associatesSchedule and assign orders to appropriate contractors to ensure expectations are met and information provided is understood CompetenciesExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient with computers and telephoneAbility to display professionalism and ethical conduct through the work dayTime and performance management Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year in either auto-finance, collections, banking, insurance or call center experience requiredBenefitsCompetitive compensation packageFull suite of medical benefits, including dental, vision, pet insurance and more!PTO and holidays Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Physical RequirementsThis position is indoors. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. May be asked to lift approximately 25 lbs. Exposure to moderate noise and light, i.e. business office with computers, phone, printers, light foot traffic.
