This role is integral to supporting the slab crew, ensuring that tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in slab construction and be eager to contribute to the team's success.Reports to: Crew Leader, Director of ConstructionResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist in the preparation and installation of slab foundations, including site grading, formwork, reinforcement, and pouring concrete.Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from the worksite.Set up and clean up work areas, ensuring that tools and materials are properly stored and organized.Support the slab crew with daily tasks and operations, ensuring the job site runs smoothly.Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and reporting hazards to supervisors.Mix, pour, and spread concrete as directed.Assist with the setup and operation of slab-related equipment.Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.Perform basic labor tasks, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials as needed.Follow directions from the Slab Crew Leader and other supervisory personnel.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
