Job Description

Location: 3 days onsite wkly in Issaquah, WA (must be local)

What You'll Do

  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define and document requirements for eCommerce initiatives.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
  • Drive backlog creation, refinement, and prioritization activities within an Agile environment.
  • Document customer journeys, personas, business processes, and end-to-end user experiences.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions across business and technical teams.
  • Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and executive-ready documentation to support decision making.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, QA resources, and program managers throughout delivery.
  • Support multiple concurrent workstreams focused on digital customer experiences and platform enhancements.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, and gaps while helping delivery teams maintain momentum.
  • Quickly contribute to the acceleration of eCommerce initiatives by producing high-quality requirements and delivery artifacts.\

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience within eCommerce or digital commerce environments required
  • Proven experience creating features, user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements, and process documentation.
  • Strong backlog management experience within Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Experience documenting customer journeys, personas, and digital user experiences.
  • Ability to translate complex business processes into actionable requirements for technical teams.
  • Strong facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience partnering directly with product, engineering, and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Experience working across both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with SAP Commerce/Hybris, Shopify, Adobe Analytics, or similar eCommerce platforms.
  • Preferred experience with D365 integrations and related commerce ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to quickly onboard and contribute within established Scrum teams.

Ideal Candidate

  • Has served as a dedicated eCommerce BSA, not solely a general Business Analyst.
  • Can rapidly develop user stories, features, requirements, and process flows with minimal ramp-up time.
  • Understands how customer experiences, personas, and digital commerce journeys translate into technical requirements.
  • Thrives in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve and teams are working on aggressive delivery timelines.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.  The targeted hourly pay range is $70 to $80hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
