Here at Verlo Mattress, we are looking for a well-spoken, upbeat, and responsible person to join our growing Sleep Advocate team. Our advocates help local community members by informing them of the best way to get a great night's sleep. We do this through the intimate knowledge of sleep and sleep materials. Don't know much about sleep? No worries! All we require is a willingness to learn, a can-do attitude, and the ability to enhance our culture further.
Sleep Advocate Job Responsibilities:
- Serves customers by helping them understand and select products.
- Drives sales through the engagement of customers and sharing product knowledge.
- Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
- Responds to customers' questions.
- Provides outstanding customer service.
- Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
- Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
- Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Assists with product assembly.
- Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
- Presents, promotes, and sells products/services using a proven, easy-to-navigate sales system.
- Performs cost-benefit and needs analysis for customers to meet their needs
- Establishes, develops, and maintains positive customer relationships
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Coordinates sales effort with team members and other departments
