• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Sleep/Polysomnographic Tech to join a team for an overnight position in Ithaca, NY. As a Sleep Tech, you will play a vital role in conducting sleep studies and polysomnographic testing to diagnose and treat sleep disorders in patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of a sleep specialist.
• Set up and monitor sleep studies, including attaching electrodes and sensors to patients.
• Score sleep studies and provide accurate and detailed reports to physicians.
• Educate patients on sleep study procedures and equipment.
• Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of sleep study equipment.

Qualifications:

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sleep Tech.
• Proficiency in conducting overnight sleep studies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
