Full Time, Part Time and/or PRN RPSGTs Needed

Sign on Bonus for Full time - up to 10k

We're seeking experienced RPSGTs or RRTs to work at a sleep center in St. Petersburg, FL. This position will provide sleep services on Full-Time basis 3 nights one week 4 the next 8pm-7am.

We are a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy and partner with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive fully integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating tests and collecting data
  • Responsible for preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
  • Responsible for following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
  • Analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review
  • Required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or higher education level
  • Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
  • Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist "RPSGT" or certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required

1. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

2. The employee is required to use his/her hands to operate office equipment.

3. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
