Required Skills:
- Proficient in reading and using ruler measurements, including both metric and standard units.
- Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and communicate well with coworkers.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Load and unload rolls of plastic film onto machinery and remove finished products to pallets.
- Palletize finished goods according to customer specifications.
- Accurately complete and apply labels to finished goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and machine.
- Follow all facility safety regulations, implement appropriate dress code and work effectively as part of a team.
- Organize and weigh scrap material and clean the work area at the end of each shift.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift between 55- 65 lbs.
- Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, pushing, standing and walking.
- Extensive use of hands and fingers.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Occasional use of Pallet Jacks and Big Joe equipment.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
