We are seeking a dependable Slitter/Rewind Operator in Salem, OH. If you enjoy working in a manufacturing environment and take pride in your attention to detail, this could be the opportunity for you.

Join a dynamic team where you will operate machinery to process Master Rolls from the printing press, accurately slit and rewind them into individual rolls according to order specifications. You’ll also prepare shipments by printing and applying custom labels, packing products, and recording package weights for shipping. This role offers a hands-on experience in a fast-paced production setting with room for growth.

Hours
Monday - Friday
Start: 6:00 AM
End: 4:00 PM

Pay
$16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
• Operate machinery to slit and rewind Master Rolls into individual rolls
• Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and packing
• Measure and record the weight of packages for shipping
• Follow safety and quality standards during production
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Minimum Requirements
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Excellent work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs comfortably
• Strong understanding of basic math
• Attention to detail is essential

Nice to Have Skills
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production roles
• Familiarity with packing and shipping procedures

Preferred Education and Experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• No prior experience necessary; training provided
