Slitter Rewinder Operator

We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our Specialty Materials manufacturing team as a Slitter Rewinder Operator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, troubleshooting equipment, and developing advanced manufacturing skills.

The ideal candidate does not need previous slitter rewinder experience. We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the willingness to learn how to operate and maintain new, high-tech converting equipment.

This role will provide hands-on training with advanced slitting and rewinding technology, allowing the successful candidate to build expertise in a specialized manufacturing environment.

Shift & Compensation

C Shift

• Schedule: Third Shift / C Shift
• Hours: (Insert shift hours)
• 15% Shift Differential

Pay Range

• Base Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
• With Shift Differential:
• • Approximate effective rate: $23.00 - $26.45 per hour

Position Responsibilities

• Operate modern slitter rewinder equipment used in specialty material converting processes
• Learn machine setup, operation, and process adjustments
• Monitor production runs to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency
• Perform material changes, machine adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
• Inspect finished rolls for defects, dimensions, and quality requirements
• Load materials, remove finished rolls, and prepare products for the next production step
• Follow detailed work instructions and production specifications
• Complete production documentation and quality checks
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities and equipment improvements
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred
• Experience with converting equipment, printing presses, laminators, slitters, or similar machinery is a plus
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience is beneficial
• Ability to read work instructions and production specifications
• Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
