Job Purpose:
A successful Slot Host must provide exceptional guest service to our guests and adhere to all Gaming control policies and procedures.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Ensure the assigned area is neat and clean.
- Monitor slot equipment in order to maintain proper use and maintenance.
- Greet all new and existing players and accommodating their needs within program guidelines to ensure player satisfaction and encourage return visits
- Monitor and pay jackpots.
- Monitor and help maintain all change machines.
- Handle guest complaints and disputes fairly and with the best interest of the hotel/casino in mind.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 month cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.
- Comfort in operational computer skills required for cash handling system
- Dedication to Integrity, Teamwork and Customer Service.
- The ability to maintain composure during time of uncertainty.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
