Position Summary The Speech‑Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing disorders across pediatric and adult populations. This role delivers high‑quality, evidence‑based services; collaborates with interdisciplinary teams; provides education to families and caregivers; and ensures all documentation and billing meet regulatory and organizational standards.
Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations in accordance with physician orders or Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans or IEPs aligned with patient/student and family goals.
Provide therapeutic interventions to restore, improve, or maintain communication, cognitive, and swallowing function.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
Monitor patient/student progress, adjust treatment plans, and identify contraindications as needed.
Complete accurate, timely documentation and billing in compliance with facility, state, federal, and payer requirements.
Participate in discharge planning, including family meetings, home assessments, and caregiver training.
Supervise Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants, Clinical Fellows, and student interns in accordance with state practice acts and organizational policies.
Maintain a safe, organized, and sanitary clinical environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active state license in Speech‑Language Pathology in the applicable state(s).
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA.
Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship (strongly preferred).
