Speech Language Pathologist (ESY Program Only)

Location: Berwyn, PA Job Type: Contract Program: Extended School Year (Summer 2026)

Position Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct therapy and support to students in the areas of communication, daily living, educational, and vocational skills. The SLP delivers services in both individual and group settings and collaborates with educational teams to support student progress throughout the ESY program and early school year.

Schedule & Program Dates

Extended School Year (ESY) 2026

• Program Dates: June 29 – August 6, 2026

• Days: Monday – Thursday

• Hours: 8:30 AM – 1:45 PM

• Orientation: Friday, June 12, 2026 (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

School Year 2026–2027 (Partial Assignment)

• Start Date: August 18, 2026 (staff development days)

• Schedule: Monday – Friday

• Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM

• Assignment Duration: Through late November / early December 2026

Caseload

• Approximately 16–18 students

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• Valid SLP License

• PDE certification

• Experience in an autistic support program preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to a caseload of 16–18 students as outlined in their IEPs

• Deliver scheduled therapy sessions and maintain accurate session notes

• Implement IEP goals and collect ongoing data for progress monitoring

• Communicate with collaborative teams, parents, and school districts as needed

• Coordinate with administration regarding departmental needs or concerns

• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA
