Speech Language Pathologist (ESY Program Only)
Berwyn, PA | Contract | Summer 2026
Position Overview
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will support students in developing communication skills that enhance daily living, educational participation, and vocational readiness. The SLP will provide both individual and group therapy sessions, addressing communication needs within the classroom and across the educational program.
Schedule & Program Duration
ESY Program: June 29 – August 6, 2026
Days: Monday – Thursday
Hours: 8:30 AM – 1:45 PM
Orientation: Friday, June 12, 2026 (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Caseload
Approximately 16–18 students
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Active SLP License
PDE Certification
Experience in an autistic support program preferred
Core Responsibilities
Provide speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 16–18 students in alignment with their IEPs
Deliver scheduled therapy sessions and maintain accurate, ongoing session notes
Implement IEP goals and collect data on student progress
Communicate regularly with collaborative teams, parents, and district partners as needed
Coordinate with administration regarding any issues impacting speech services
Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA
Complete additional assigned duties and attend required staff and parent meetings
