The role offers placement across 2-3 school buildings, with on-site services required, and administrators will make every effort to accommodate your grade-level preferences.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfort working across multiple buildings within a district
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, families, and administration to foster student success
- Manage a caseload that may involve 32.5 hours of direct, billable onsite support weekly
- Attend meetings and contribute to the development and modification of student IEPs
- Provide guidance and resources to classroom staff as appropriate
