Under the direct supervision of a licensed speech pathologist, the speech/language pathology assistant (SLPA) provides Speech/Language Therapy services to patients/clients within the scope of practice as determined by the Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board, State of California, according to the treatment plan designed by the licensed therapist. The SLPA participates in departmental and team functions as needed. The SLPA provides interventions and education services to patients/clients who have communicative disorders, communicative delays or developmental disabilities. The SLPA does not provide evaluative services, nor modify treatment programs established by the licensed therapist. The ideal candidate will possess the following: Licensure/registration as SLPA following completion of two-year program or equivalent as set forth by the Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. First Aid certification Pay:$29.00-$33.00/hr
