**School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)**
**Location:** School-Based Setting

**Position Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated **Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)** to support a school-based therapy program. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services, assist with treatment implementation, and support student progress.
This is a great opportunity for a clinician looking for a **part-time school-based role** with consistent scheduling.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Assist the SLP in delivering **speech and language therapy services**
+ Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising SLP
+ Support students in developing **communication and language skills**
+ Complete **documentation and progress tracking** as required
+ Collaborate with staff and support teams to ensure effective service delivery
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Associate's degree from an SLPA program or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
+ Completion of at least **100 hours of supervised fieldwork** (or state equivalent)
+ Active **SLPA license or certification** in the state of practice
+ Minimum **1 year of experience preferred**
+ Knowledge of **school-based therapy practices**
+ TB screening (PPD, questionnaire, or chest X-ray if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (if required)
+ Must meet all **federal, state, and local requirements**
+ Must be at least **18 years of age**
**Compensation**
+ **$40/hour (Local Rate)**
