215.885.2360 Program of Veterinary Technology Manor College's Program of Veterinary Technology is a face -to-face program accredited by the CVTEA -AVMA. The program is seeking a Veterinarian or Certified Veterinary Technician to cover a leave of absence for the Fall 2026 Semester effective September 8, 2026. The position is expected to instruct the small animal clinical course(s) and administer the exams. The position will cover lectures and labs for one or two courses. Specific Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Teaches specific course lectures and laboratory classes working with models and live animals depending on the course requirements . Possible course include: VT201 Small Animal Clinical and Emergency Procedures - topics include small animal restraint review, injections, physical examinations, emergency procedures and medical math VT204 Small Animal Dentistry - topics include oral anatomy review, oral examinations, COHAT techniques and procedures, and common oral diseases Demonstrates professionalism , expertise and a strong commitment to supporting student learning . Coverage needed for: VT201 Lecture: Tuesday 10:30am - 12:20pm Labs: Tuesday 2:00 - 3:50pm Thursday 2:00 -3:50pm Friday 8:30 -10:20am Friday 10:30am - 12:20pm VT204 Lecture/Lab: Monday 9:00 -10:50am Monday 12:00 -1:50pm Criteria & Qualifications: Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT or equivalent) and bachelor's degree or equivalent and must have clinical experience OR Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM o r equivalent) and clinical experience in small animal practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially what working with students Attention to detail and good organizational skills To Apply: Please submit a cover letter and resume to jobs@manor.edu Confidential screening of applications will continue until the position is filled.
