Job Store Professional is hiring a Small Engine Mechanic to support a growing company in the construction equipment space. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and working independently.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain gas and electric small engines (saws, drills, etc.)
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues
- Ensure equipment is serviced and ready for use
- Maintain shop organization and assist with parts inventory
- Provide basic guidance to customers on equipment care
What We’re Looking For
- 18+ with valid driver’s license
- Small engine repair experience or technical training preferred
- Experience with Honda, Stihl, Husqvarna or similar equipment
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read manuals and schematics
- Detail-oriented with a focus on safety
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
