Small Meter Calibrator / Air & Water / Store lead

Local company is currently seeking a small electronic instrument calibrator for full time work in their Baton Rouge location.  Initially this position would focus on recalibrating air and water meters for the rental business. Then at some point he/she would learn the workings of the sale and rental side of the business to become the shop keeper.  This particular position focuses on a very niche clientele of customers working in a variety of environmentally based practices. The shop keeper's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, greeting customers, pulling orders, preparing paperwork, accepting returned equipment. evaluating repairs on equipment. receiving stock into the small warehouse and keeping the store clean and orderly. Being this is a specialty store the daily order volume is considered low and basic training will be provided followed by on the job training. 

Hours generally run from 7:30am to 5pm M-F with an hour for lunch. 

Requirements: 

• MUST PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN
• MUST HAVE UNDERSTANDING OR WORKING KNOWLEDGE CALIBRATING ELECTRONIC METERS. 
• MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK.
