Job Description
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and written instructions to assemble mechanical components and products accurately.
- Perform basic mechanical assembly tasks such as fastening, fitting, aligning, and adjusting parts to ensure proper functionality.
- Utilize hand and power tools, as well as measuring instruments, in the assembly process.
- Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues during the assembly process, and escalate complex problems to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress, challenges, and any deviations from instructions.
- Assist in the testing and quality control processes as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and production, to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
