As a Small Piece Mechanical Assembler, you'll play a vital role in assembling precision components, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring top-quality products. Youll work closely with engineering and production teams to deliver results that matter every day.
What You'll Do
As a Small Piece Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for
Assembling small mechanical parts, components, subassemblies, and finished products following detailed drawings and work instructions
Inspections of incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods using measurement tools
Safely operating hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery
Managing materials, moving parts between workstations, and supporting inventory accuracy
Following safety protocols, maintaining PPE requirements, and keeping your work area organized and clean
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean and 5S practices
Completing and maintaining accurate production documentation and reporting issues promptly
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical drawings
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Experience with hand tools, power tools, or basic machinery
Attention to detail with a focus on first-pass quality
Ability to troubleshoot minor issues and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good communication, teamwork, and reliability
Basic computer skills; familiarity with electronic instructions or barcode scanners is a plus
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
1-3 years of manufacturing or electromechanical assembly experience (preferred)
Technical training in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Technology is a bonus
