HJF is seeking a SME IV - Clinical Psychologist (Health Promotion and Behavior Change) to function as staff member for all categories of patients. Performs duties as a practitioner and consultant in psychiatry with emphasis on problems of all levels of complexity.
This position will provide technical and operational support to accomplish the mission of the Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE). Located in Silver Spring, MD, the PHCoE is a Department of Defense (DoD) initiative focused on improving mental health service delivery and promoting psychological health among service members. It collaborates across the DoD, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and other agencies to develop clinical practice guidelines for psychological health conditions, substance use disorders, and suicide risk. PHCoE also produces evidence-based resources, clinical support tools, and expert-reviewed briefs to enhance patient care, operational readiness, and human performance in military settings
