Neuro Telemetry RN | New York

Take your nursing career to the next level on a highly specialized neurological unit caring for complex and acute neuro patients. We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional neurological and stroke care.

This nationally recognized unit is part of a Joint Commission-accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the region’s only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, utilizing advanced continuous video EEG technology to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizure disorders.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide specialized nursing care for patients with neurological and telemetry needs

  • Monitor and assess patients with conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, and other complex neurological disorders

  • Interpret telemetry data and respond appropriately to patient condition changes

  • Collaborate closely with neurologists, epilepsy specialists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Utilize critical thinking skills to manage acute and rapidly changing patient conditions

  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing care

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient safety

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active New York RN License required

  • Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience required

  • Telemetry experience required

  • BLS certification required

  • NIHSS certification highly preferred

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity neurological environment
