We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional neurological and stroke care.
This nationally recognized unit is part of a Joint Commission-accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the region’s only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, utilizing advanced continuous video EEG technology to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizure disorders.
What You’ll Do:
Provide specialized nursing care for patients with neurological and telemetry needs
Monitor and assess patients with conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, and other complex neurological disorders
Interpret telemetry data and respond appropriately to patient condition changes
Collaborate closely with neurologists, epilepsy specialists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
Utilize critical thinking skills to manage acute and rapidly changing patient conditions
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient safety
What You’ll Bring:
Active New York RN License required
Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience required
Telemetry experience required
BLS certification required
NIHSS certification highly preferred
Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity neurological environment
