Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642

Schedule

  • Rotating Day/Evening/Night (D/E/N) shifts (No straight shifts available)
  • Every Other Weekend (EOW)
  • Holidays as required
  • On-Call/Callback/Charge responsibilities based on unit needs

Job Summary

The Level II Registered Nurse provides safe, competent, patient-centered care through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and evidence-based practice. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the RN is responsible for delivering care that meets established standards while taking on expanded responsibilities such as serving as a charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active New York State RN License (Only NY licenses are accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
  • Telemetry experience (Required)
  • Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only

  • Active NY RN License
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Telemetry experience
  • BLS (AHA only)

  6. Is the healthcare professional able to obtain a TB skin test?
  7. Is the candidate aware that this position requires rotating Day/Evening/Night shifts on the inpatient units (no straight shifts)?
