Background Investigation, Interpersonal Skills, Tax Returns
Help seniors receive needed tax refunds.
- Welcome and orient the tax filers to the tax site;
- Provide taxpayers with an intake folder and intake sheet;
- Ensure taxpayers have the necessary information and documents required by the IRS;
- Direct taxpayers to the appropriate waiting area and explain process;
- Assist in making copies of proper ID's, forms, documents, etc.
Qualifications:
- volunteers must be 18+
- Training and certification through the EITC Coalition/LinkandLearn
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Able to pass a background check;
- Reliable access to phone;
- Reliable transportation;
Serve 8 am- 3 pm Saturday in the Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood
Volunteers do not need experience with taxes to volunteer.
Help seniors receive much needed funds by volunteering monthly or more often!
