Emish Market is a Ukrainian grocery store located in Fife, WA, offering a wide selection of imported goods from Ukraine and other European countries. In addition to our market, we operate a full-service café, bakery, and meat department, preparing fresh Ukrainian dishes, pastries, and specialty meats daily.
We are now expanding - a new restaurant, Emish Restaurant, is opening under the Emish Market brand alongside several exciting projects in development. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape the digital identity of a growing Ukrainian hospitality group in the Pacific Northwest.
We are currently seeking a creative and proactive SMM / Content Creator to lead our social media presence and help tell our story through engaging, high-quality content.
What You'll Do
- Plan and manage our social media in collaboration with the Marketing Managers
- Shoot on-site content at our market, café, and new restaurant locations
- Write scripts for short-form videos including product highlights, café moments, and cultural storytelling
- Edit, publish, and schedule content consistently
- Track performance metrics such as reach, engagement, saves, and follower growth
- Prepare monthly analytics reports with clear insights and recommendations
Required Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of experience in social media management or content creation
- Ability to independently shoot and edit Reels (CapCut, Adobe, Figma, or similar tools)
- Strong scriptwriting skills with a warm, human, and trendy tone
- Understanding of food, lifestyle, and community-driven content
- Based in or able to travel regularly to Fife, WA for on-site content creation
- Strong organization, consistency, and attention to detail
- Bonus: Ukrainian speaker or someone connected to Eastern European culture
Work Schedule: Part-time with opportunity to grow into a full-time role (flexible schedule). Regular on-site shoots required in Fife, WA
Pay & Compensation: $20+ per hour (depending on experience)
