Smoothie Barista

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Beverage Specialist to prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, including coffee, tea, and other specialty beverages. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by helping guests choose drinks, offering personalized recommendations, promoting featured menu items, and accurately taking orders.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication and customer service skills, is comfortable operating beverage preparation equipment, and can work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Compensation for this position includes a base hourly wage plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Provide menu information and answer questions about beverages, ingredients, and available options.
• Accurately take customer orders while accommodating preferences and special requests.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Process customer payments using cash, credit/debit cards, or other accepted payment methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary beverage preparation and service area.
• Ensure serving items are clean, stocked, and readily available.
• Monitor beverage preparation equipment, perform routine cleaning, and report maintenance issues as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety guidelines.
• Share customer feedback with management and contribute ideas for improving menu offerings and the overall guest experience.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a beverage service, café, restaurant, or customer service role preferred.
• Familiarity with beverage preparation equipment and standard operating procedures.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to understand and respond to guest preferences.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional food service or hospitality training is a plus.
