    Description

    Purpose of the position
    Foxconn Technology Group, a globally leading electronics manufacturing company, provides high-precision manufacturing solutions for top-tier technology brands. We are now recruiting multiple SMT equipment engineers to ensure the efficient operation of SMT production line equipment. You will lead preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, process optimization, and technological upgrades to support the demands of high-precision electronic manufacturing.
    Duties and Responsibilities
    1. Perform daily maintenance, calibration, and preventive maintenance on mainstream equipment such as SMT mounters (e.g., FUJI NXT, Universal), printers (GKG/DEK), vision inspection equipment (Holly/TRI/JET SPI&AOI), dispensers (Anda, Speedline, Asymtek), reflow ovens (JT/ERSA), etc.;
    2. Familiar with SMT machine program creation and management, with experience in creating programs for Fuji/Panasonic/Universal/ASM etc. SMT machines
    3. Quickly diagnose equipment failures, implement emergency repairs to minimize downtime, and develop long-term solutions;
    4. Adjust equipment parameters (placement accuracy, solder paste printing, etc.) to improve yield, efficiency, and product reliability;
    5. Assist in promoting equipment modification and performance enhancement projects;
    6. Write equipment maintenance SOPs and failure analysis reports;
    7. Train technicians and collaborate with production, process, and quality departments to resolve cross-functional issues.
    Education and work experience
    • Educational Requirements​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Associate's degree or higher, Degree required: Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or related fields
    • Work experience:
    1. More than 2 years of SMT equipment maintenance experience, familiar with mainstream equipment brands (FUJIUniversalGKGDEKHollyTRIJETAndaSpeedlineAsymtekJTERSA etc.);
    2. Candidates with background in consumer electronics / automotive electronics manufacturing are preferred.
    Working conditions
    1. Environment: SMT manufacturing workshop, working closely with the automation/global operations department;
    2. Shift: Typically 5 days with 8-hour core working hours, flexible but occasional overtime may be required for project deadlines;

    Skills:
    1. Familiar with SMT equipment mechanical/electrical systems (servo motor, pneumatic components, sensors, PCB conveyor system).
    2. Capable of using tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes for circuit analysis and reading electrical schematics.
    3. Able to quickly learn and master SMT equipment control software and basic PLC debugging.
    4. Interdepartmental communication skills and safety awareness.
