This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in surface mount technology (SMT) who enjoys working with advanced automated equipment in a fast-paced production environment.You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring SMT equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality production in a clean and safety-focused facility.What You’ll DoSet up and operate SMT production equipment including:Solder paste screen printersPick-and-place machinesReflow ovensAutomated optical inspection (AOI) systemsLoad feeders, trays, and magazines with correct components per work orderSelect and verify machine programs and revisions for each production runGenerate and review layout lists to identify missing or inactive componentsPerform first article and in-process inspections to ensure product qualityMonitor reflow oven profiles and ensure proper soldering of componentsTrack labor and production activity using barcode systemsMaintain accurate component inventory and monitor material usage/scrapPerform basic machine maintenance and troubleshootingFollow all ISO 9001 quality standards, safety procedures, and work instructionsSupport additional assembly or production tasks as needed
