We’re looking for a detail-driven SMT Operator who enjoys hands-on electronics manufacturing work and takes pride in producing high-quality products!




SALARY: $22-$24/hr. DOE

LOCATION: Tualatin, OR

SCHEDULE: Full-time; Friday-Sunday | 12:00pm-12:00am




WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS ROLE
  • Hands-On Production Work: Operate SMT equipment and support the full PCBA assembly process from setup through inspection.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Operate and monitor SMT production equipment, including stencil printers, solder paste inspection systems, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens to ensure efficient and quality-driven manufacturing.
  • Perform machine setups, program loading, line changeovers, feeder loading, and material verification to support production schedules and maintain component traceability.
  • Inspect assemblies for solder quality, component placement, polarity, and overall workmanship in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards, while documenting production activities and quality results.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues, communicate production concerns to appropriate teams, and support preventative maintenance, equipment cleaning, ESD compliance, and workplace safety initiatives.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in electronics manufacturing, SMT assembly, or a similar production environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of PCB assembly processes, surface-mount technology (SMT), electronic components, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, engineering specifications, part labels, and other production-related documentation.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience using inspection and measurement equipment, such as microscopes, calipers, AOI systems, and IPC-A-610 quality standards preferred.




PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position works in a manufacturing production environment and requires standing for extended periods of time, good manual dexterity for handling small components, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
