What You'll Do as an SMT Operator:- Set up and operate surface mount technology (SMT) equipment
- Perform setup and teardown of feeders handling small components
- Assemble electronic components manually as needed
- Inspect circuit board assemblies for basic quality checks
- Complete required production and process documentation
- Enter production data using computer systems
- Follow supervisor instructions and support production needs
- Maintain compliance with company procedures and safety guidelines
What You Need to Bring to the SMT Operator Role:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in SMT or electronic assembly preferred
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Ability to use basic computer systems for data entry
- Ability to apply basic math skills in a production environment
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
- Ability to stand, sit, and lift up to 30 pounds during the workday with or without reasonable accommodations
