SMT Operator
Location- Clearwater, FL (On-site 4 10/hr shifts- 1st shift)
This program requires US Citizenship
Operates through?hole and surface?mount (SMT) automatic assembly equipment to produce high?quality, complex printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies. Responsible for equipment setup, operation, and routine maintenance while ensuring all assemblies meet quality and Mil?Spec standards.
Core Responsibilities
Operate SMT and through?hole automatic assembly equipment for PCB production.
Perform solder paste screen printing manually or with semi?automatic equipment.
Operate adhesive dispensing equipment.
Load components (tubes/reels) onto feeders and install feeders onto placement machines.
Hand?place SMT components when required.
Place assembled PCBs into reflow ovens.
Use standard electronic hand tools (solder, flux, adhesives).
Follow drawings, visual aids, and written instructions to identify and correct defects.
Additional Supplier Notes
Ability to read and understand Mil?Specifications and electronic schematics.
SMT knowledge strongly preferred.
Experience with AOI and visual defect identification.
Shift & Requirements
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST
Must be able to read and write English
Completion of pre?screening questionnaire required
