SMT Operator (Entry-Level - Electronics Manufacturing)

Pay:$25 - $30/hr per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking anEntry-Level SMT Operatorto support our electronics manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and monitor equipment on anSMT (Surface Mount Technology) production line, including inspection of electronic assemblies usingAutomated Optical Inspection (AOI)systems.No prior SMT experience is required-training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support SMT production line equipment
• Inspect SMT electronic assemblies usingAOI equipment
• Identify and communicate defects to operators and supervisors
• FollowESD (Electrostatic Discharge), board handling, andMSDprocedures
• Verify workmanship and process compliance per work instructions
• SupportISO, quality standards, and 6S/Lean initiatives
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to performrepetitive, detail-oriented work
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• No prior SMT or manufacturing experience required(paid training provided)
