Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SMT Programmer to support electronic/PCBA manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, maintaining, and troubleshooting SMT machine programs while ensuring production processes meet quality and manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, maintain, and optimize SMT machine programs.
  • Program and support SMT production equipment, including solder paste printers, placement machines, and reflow ovens.
  • Review and interpret PCB manufacturing data, BOMs, Gerber files, and assembly drawings.
  • Ensure programs are accurate and aligned with current manufacturing and process instructions.
  • Troubleshoot programming and SMT production issues and assist with failure analysis.
  • Transfer and verify programs on production equipment.
  • Support engineers and production operators with SMT programming and process needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow company procedures and quality standards.
  • Support 5S and continuous improvement activities on the production floor.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant SMT/PCBA manufacturing experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SMT programming.
  • Experience with MPM printers, Universal equipment, MYDATA, and BTU reflow ovens.
  • Ability to interpret PCB manufacturing data, BOMs, Gerber files, and assembly drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • IPC training or certification.
