SMT QC Inspector
Adecco is hiring SMT QC Inspectors to work with our client located in Windsor, CT. These are long term opportunities with potential for temp to hire. These positions are on the day shift 7a-3:30p. Performs inspection of SMT printed circuit boards as directed by Quality Assurance Manager. Reviews engineering documents to ensure compliance to customer requirements. Prepares First Article reports for assemblies that are first time builds. Reviews inspection reports to ensure all inspection process steps have been fulfilled. Ensures inspection data is available and complete.
Principle Duties
Reviews engineering documents for any special requirements.
Inspects material to engineering documentation.
Inspects material to IPC - 610 /J STD Workmanship criteria.
Identifies missing or wrong components, insufficient solder joints, poor workmanship.
Interfaces with Quality Assurance Manager on resolution of Quality issues.
Prepares inspection reports.
Education
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Working with IPC 610/J STD Standard
With in process SMT quality inspection
Utilizing IPC 620
Working with AOI
With CR Technology CRX-1000
Technical
Understand Engineering documentation.
Determine critical points of inspection.
Use simple electrical test and measurement instruments.
Identify component values.
Work with microscope or loupe.
Knowledge of IPC 610/J-STD.
Knowledge of IPC 620 preferred.
Experience win "in process SMT quality inspection.
Physical Environment
Sitting most of the shift.
Must be able to push carts of circuit boards, on occasion lift racks of circuit boards.
