SMT Test EPM - SMT Coverage Library Generation
As an SMT Test EPM, you will be responsible for SMT test coverage library generation for all our existing and upcoming new products. This position is a great fit for someone who has prior experience with technical project management working collaboratively with a group of engineers, and is passionate about product s electrical design architecture, its testing requirements & implementation at factory.
Our organization plays a key role in ensuring the quality standards are exceeded, and making sure that our customers are happy with the performance and experience of the products they use. Members of this team leads the design of custom hardware testing fixtures, software (firmware and/or FPGA IP), and instruments that are critical to product integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with SMT station DRIs to fetch existing list of test coverages run across different projects and facilitate generation of test library
Perform end-to-end coverage analysis to better understand necessity of test coverage and propose areas of optimization.
Explore use of internal AIML tools and/or develop new tools to integrate test coverage library to facilitate test SW automation and ease of use.
Be the technical expert for understanding, presenting, communicating and documenting system test and its processes.
Key Qualifications
B.S. EE (or similar) along with 2+ years of project management experience
Ability to view & understand electrical schematics and layout, and generating test plans for them
Working knowledge of USB 3.2, USB-PD, Display Port, PCIe, I2C, SPI technologies and protocols, and design
Good oral & written communication skills - be able to understand complex engineering concepts clearly from both internal and xfunc engineers.
Prior experience of Python or similar languages for creating small scripts / tools.
Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally up-to 10% of the time; estimated 8-10 days per trip
Nice to have - Prior experience with bed of nails test fixture and instrument design
