Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a respected Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in San Jose, California, to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week travel assignment. Job Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to support rehabilitation goals
• Monitor patient progress and accurately document treatment outcomes
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and adaptive strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
• Support patients in achieving maximum independence and functional performance

Education & Certification Requirements

• Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
• Current California Occupational Therapy Assistant License required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills
