Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting
- Proficiency with PointClickCare electronic health record system
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Adherence to all safety and infection control protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with other electronic health records
- Bilingual capabilities
- Additional certifications such as CPR and first aid
- Experience managing complex residents' care plans
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing
- At least 2 years of recent nursing home experience
- Prior experience working with elderly populations
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work every other weekend and holiday as required
- Mandatory lunch break during each shift
- Ability to work scheduled shifts reliably
