SNL Coach

The person filling this position is expected, under general supervision, to: (1) research and develop instructional materials and lesson plans; and (2) provide group and/or individual assistance to "at-risk" children and/or youth in academic and/or non-academic subjects; including the following:

• Research new materials and methods of instruction to keep curriculum current and relevant.
• Design daily lesson plans to meet core course objectives.
• Coordinate curriculum and daily activities with school personnel, as appropriate.
• Administer and grade appropriate surveys.
• Assess clients' strengths in order to build upon them.
• Prepare and distribute instructional materials for classroom use.
• Provide individual and group instruction/facilitation on the subject(s) of the course.
• Provide training in and/or utilizes techniques for resolving conflicts non-violently in group settings.
• Manage classrooms and/or small groups effectively to maximize client learning.
• Manage virtual classrooms effectively to maximize client learning.
• Document client progress on daily/weekly/monthly/semester/academic year bases.
• Participate in client progress meetings/conferences with parents and school personnel.
• Participate in administrative and staff meetings as requested.
• Provide all required information for weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
• May coordinate client leadership activities.
• Tasks may be modified, expanded and/or assigned over time.

What are the Qualifications for the Position:

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

• Minimum 2-years of experience working with youth
• Proven three years of professional experience/specialization
• Current Undergraduate student or AS and/or equivalent experience.

Compensation: -$27.10 hourly
