Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Snow Architect to design, implement, and manage data solutions using Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Snowflake's architecture and capabilities, as well as a proven track record of developing scalable and efficient data solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust data pipelines, optimize performance, and ensure data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Implementation: Design and implement data solutions and architectures using Snowflake to meet business requirements. Develop ETL/ELT processes, data models, and schemas.
Performance Optimization: Optimize Snowflake performance by tuning queries, managing storage, and configuring compute resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
Data Integration: Integrate Snowflake with various data sources, including on-premises databases, cloud services, and third-party applications. Ensure seamless data flow and transformation.
Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Snowflake solutions.
Governance and Security: Implement data governance, security, and compliance measures within the Snowflake environment. Ensure data privacy and integrity.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to data processing, performance, and connectivity. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Snowflake solutions.
Documentation and Training: Create and maintain documentation for Snowflake architectures and processes. Provide training and support to team members and end-users as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience as a Snow Architect or similar role with a strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and features.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data integration. Familiarity with other data warehousing tools and technologies is a plus.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in Snowflake or data architecture are a plus.
