About the Role:
Kenney Landscaping & Commercial Snow in Rochester, MI is looking for a hardworking and reliable Snow Removal Crew Member to join our team! This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll play a key part in keeping our commercial clients' properties safe and clear all winter long. If you love working outdoors and don't mind the cold, this is the opportunity for you!

• 5-Hour Minimum Pay: Employees will be paid a minimum of 5 hours for each snow event/call-in, even if the actual work time is less than 5 hours.

Responsibilities:

• Operate snow removal equipment including plows, snow blowers, and salt spreaders
• Manually shovel and clear snow from walkways, entrances, and parking lots
• Apply ice melt and de-icing materials to prevent hazardous conditions
• Work efficiently as part of a crew to service multiple commercial properties per shift
• Perform pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Respond to on-call and overnight shifts during and after winter storm events
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all job sites

Requirements:

• Previous snow removal or landscaping experience preferred but not required
• Ability to operate snow removal equipment and hand tools
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work early morning, overnight, and on-call shifts during storm events
• Physically capable of shoveling and working in cold, winter conditions for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to follow directions and work safely on commercial job sites
