Job Overview:
Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- 10+ years of experience in architecture and design.
- Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide Snowflake data platform architectures.
- Expertise in defining data strategies, standards, and best practices for cloud-based data warehousing.
- Proven ability to develop scalable and cost-effective solutions supporting analytics, reporting, AI, and machine learning initiatives.
- Knowledge of Snowflake multi-cluster architecture, performance optimization, and workload management strategies.
- Experience architecting data ingestion frameworks using ETL/ELT methodologies.
- Proficiency in designing data pipelines integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
- Hands-on experience implementing Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Data Sharing capabilities.
- Experience integrating Snowflake with enterprise applications, data lakes, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
- Experience implementing role-based access controls (RBAC), data masking, row-level security, and governance controls.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise-wide Snowflake data platform architectures.

- Implement Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Data Sharing capabilities.
- Integrate Snowflake with enterprise applications, data lakes, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with cloud teams to design solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Establish disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
- Optimize storage, compute utilization, and overall platform costs.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
- Monitor and optimize query performance and workload management.
- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC), data masking, row-level security, and governance controls.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Establish data quality, metadata lineage, and governance frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership to engineering and analytics teams.
- Mentor Snowflake developers, data engineers, and data analysts.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews and technology roadmap discussions.
