Title: Snowflake Cortex AI & Agentic AI Engineer Locations: Baltimore, MD Duration: 06+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $55-$55/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Cortex AI & Agentic AI Engineer with 10+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in Snowflake Cortex AI, Agentic AI, and Python. The ideal candidate will design and develop AI-powered enterprise solutions using Snowflake's AI capabilities, build autonomous AI agents, and develop scalable data-driven applications leveraging Python and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI.
Build and implement Agentic AI applications capable of autonomous reasoning, planning, and task execution.
Develop scalable Python applications for AI, automation, and data processing.
Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) with Snowflake for enterprise AI use cases.
Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using enterprise data.
Develop AI agents utilizing orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
Optimize Snowflake data models, SQL queries, and AI workloads for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver AI-driven solutions.
Develop REST APIs and integrate AI services with enterprise applications.
Ensure security, governance, and compliance of AI solutions within Snowflake.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize AI model performance.
Required Skills
10+ years of IT experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex AI.
Experience designing and developing Agentic AI solutions.
Expert-level Python programming.
Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, Snowpark, SQL, and data engineering concepts.
Experience integrating LLMs such as OpenAI, Claude, Llama, or Mistral.
Knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases, and semantic search.
Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
Strong understanding of prompt engineering and AI orchestration.
Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Snowflake certifications are a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Snowflake or AI-related certifications are preferred.
Experience
10+ years of overall IT experience.
Extensive experience in Snowflake, Python, and Enterprise AI development.
