Locations: Richardson, TX 75080 (MUST BE LOCAL TO INTERVIEW IN PERSON)
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $65 - $70/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team for a 6-month project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, specifically with Snowflake and dbt, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting ELT pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with Snowflake and dbt
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Solid background in data engineering principles and practices
• Experience in building ELT pipelines and data modeling
• Familiarity with performance tuning and production support
• Recent hands-on coding experience
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Fivetran
• AWS experience, especially S3, Lambda, IAM, Glue, CloudWatch, EventBridge, and cloud-native data services
• Experience with Apache Airflow, Dagster, or similar orchestration tools

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support ELT pipelines using Snowflake and dbt
• Build dbt models and manage incremental models and snapshots
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries
• Implement data quality checks
• Troubleshoot production data issues
• Optimize Snowflake warehouse usage
• Collaborate with business analysts and application teams to deliver trusted data products
