i9 Sports Greater Phoenix is hiring Soccer Instructors!

 i9 Sports of Greater Phoenix (www.i9sports.com) is looking for energetic, personable, and hardworking Soccer Instructors. As an i9 Sports Soccer Instructor, you will be a key person in fulfilling our goal: "Helping Kids Succeed in Life through Sports". Our Soccer Instructors should have coaching experience, as well as experience working with kids. The i9 Sports league focuses on building fundamentals and learning the game in the most enjoyable way possible - creating a safe and fun environment for all participants. The position is needed for Saturdays and/or Sundays during the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer Seasons for up to 4 -6 hours depending on the number of registrants per season. The Soccer instructor will create and facilitate weekly practice plans and assist with officiating games for all age groups (3-14).

 The compensation for this position is based on experience. This is a part-time position on either Saturday and/or Sundays. Hours will vary depending on the location.

Duties/Responsibilities for the Soccer Instructor :

• Assist with the set-up/take-down of the fields at the venue (putting up goals, corner flags and laying out cones)
• Organize, plan and run practices/games for a specific team and/or group of teams/players
• Communicate weekly with volunteer coaches, participants, and league owners
• Assist with the officiating/coaching of the games
• Teach both skills and sportsmanship values while assuring a fun program for participants
• Work with Assistant Coaches on drills

Requirements :

• Must be Reliable, professional and responsive.
• Must be Outgoing, Friendly, Energetic and Enthusiastic
• Must be Warm, Empathetic, Patient and Consistent
• Must have in-depth knowledge of Soccer and have coached for a minimum of 1 year.
• Must have superior customer service skills
• Must have reliable transportation (preferably a truck or SUV), cell phone & web/email access
• Candidate will need to pass a Background Check
• Must be willing to work in Glendale, North Phoenix, North Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Avondale, Tempe or Ahwatukee
